Welcome! We’re Gustavo and Yessi Acevedo, owners of Acevedo Homes, a licensed builder group in Birmingham, AL, specializing in residential remodeling and additions.

Our journey began over sixteen years ago with a simple goal: to serve families in Birmingham by bringing their home visions to life. Gustavo's career in construction started in 2008 when he joined Meadows Contracting. In 2019, after more than a decade of experience, he founded United Contractors Services, LLC, with the dream of serving families not only with small repairs but also by building custom homes. In 2024, we proudly rebranded as Acevedo Homes.

Alongside Gustavo’s extensive skills and builder experience, Yessi enhances the partnership with her Finance degree, guaranteeing that every project is managed with precision and exceptional attention to detail.

Today, Acevedo Homes focuses on a wide range of custom remodeling services, including—but not limited to—kitchens, bathrooms, and exteriors, each designed to elevate your home and express your personal vision. We’ve had the honor of serving hundreds of families, helping them enhance and protect their most valuable investment—their home.
